DescriptionSword with a stainless steel blade with floral engraving on the flat of the blade and a six pointed star engraved on the ricasso. The sword has a curved quillon that joins the knucklebow. The guard is decorated with a circle containing a crown and anchor design. The grip is decorated with a white pebbled material that is spaced with seven thin brass bands and has a wider stripe of brass the back edge of the sword and terminates in a lions head pommel. Tied through a hole in the knucklebow is a sword knot, and acorn tassel made of wood and thread.
Sword scabbard that is narrow and tapered to fit the sword blade. The exterior is leather that is seamed at the center of the reverse side. There are engraved brass bands at the top, bottom and middle of the scabbard. The bottom band has flat extension around the sides. The top and middle bands have a brass ring for attaching to the sword sling. All three of the brass bands are decorated with a scroll, reed and heart designs.
