DescriptionStraight bladed sword that tapers to a sharp point. There is gold engraving on the flat of the blade. The guard consists of two ovals, the left one being collapsible because of a hinge. The grip is tapered at both ends with grooves along the length. A "D"-shaped knuckle bow is secured at the base of the grip and terminates in a feathered scroll at the pommel. The pommel consists of a helmet shape with a ball supported on a narrow neck. There is engraving on the upper surface.The scabbard is metal and tapered to fit the sword blade. At the end of the scabbard there is a flat plate extension. There are two band that encircle the scabbard and hold rings for attachment to a sword sling.
