DescriptionVaguely rectangular shaped binocular case with an oval top and bottom, the bottom is smaller than the top. The sides taper slightly toward the bottom. Front flap covers the entire front and is secured by button at center of base. There is a brass ring with a leaf motif around it on each side of the case for belt attachment. The case has a black exterior and is lined with burgundy colored velvet. On the front is Queen Victoria's royal cipher. The belt is a wide red imitation leather belt that is covered on the front with fine brass wire in a geometric and zigzag motif. The belt has a rectangular wave-edged buckle, a wave-edged belt loop and a wave-edged triangular tip on the belt all of which are brass. There is a brass fine wire loop on the inside of the back center of the belt.
