DescriptionBlack leather binocular case narrow at the bottom and widens toward the top. The top of the case is attached to the base with a piece of leather acting as a hinge at back. The front extends down whole length of the case and closes with a leather strap over a brass stud on the base. The base and the top are lined in red velvet. There is brass detail on the front showing a cannon, there is more brass detail on the sides where the belt attachments are located these have a leaf motif with fixed loops through which fit a second small brass loop with an elongated brass loop attached to it.
