DescriptionA rectangular postcard with a super imposed black and white photograph of a horse-drawn, flatbed wagon on which a man is sitting on top of pile of larger then life potatoes. Along the top of the image is printed "Potatoes grow big here. In Saskatoon, Sask." with "Copyright Canada 1911 by Canadian Post Card Co. Toronto." printed at the bottom center. The reverse has "Post Card" printed at the top left. The center of the reverse is divided in two with a short horizontal line at the center with "Correspondence Here" at the center left and "Name And Address Here" at the center right. On the left side is a handwritten message which says: "August 12 1912 Just a card to let / you know that I am / well ? Them from his ? find you and Belle enjoying the best of Hilith by by for now. from Mary". On the right is a handwritten address for: "Mrs. Catherine MacPhee / Orwell Cove / P.E.I". At the top right is a green postage stamp at a skewed position. Collections
