DescriptionPaper nursing license given to Miss Audrey Profitt by the Association of Nurses of Prince Edward island. The license is a small rectangular piece of paper in a black plastic case. The license is off white with black script. There is a crest of association in the upper center and an imprint of a seal in the bottom left.
Narrative

Nursing training on PEI started in 1891. Until the 1960's nurses training was was performed through three schools of Nursing. The first class of the combined school of nursing started studying in 1969.
