Narrative

Prince of Wales College, in Charlottetown, operated from 1860 until 1969, when the College amalgamated with St. Dunstan's University to form the University of Prince Edward Island. The College served as a junior college, offering the final two years of high school, the first two years of university, as well as being a school for teachers - the Normal School.
