DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are flared to form a larger circular opening. The basket has a single curved handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (0.6 cm and 1.3 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.9 cm). Most of the warp splints are the wider splints with a single narrower splint near the top and bottom. The rim of the basket is a single bound wood splint. The basket has a single curved wooden handle that is notched where it meets the rim. The handle is woven into the basket with the weft splints.Collections
