DescriptionWoven basket with a rectangular base. The side are flared to form an oval opening. The basket has a single curved handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (0.7 cm and 1.4 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (2.1 cm). Most of the warp splints are the narrower and the wider splints are near the top. The rim of the basket is a double bound wood splint. The basket has a single curved wooden handle that is notched where it meets the rim. The handle is woven into the basket with the weft splints.Collections
