DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side are straight forming a square opening. The basket has a single curved handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (1.4 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.5 cm). At the bottom of the basket is two rows of a narrower (0.7 cm) warp splint. The rim of the basket is a double wrapped wood splint. The basket has a single curved wooden handle that is notched where it meets the rim. The handle is woven into the basket with the weft splints.Collections
