DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side are flared to form a circular opening. The basket has a single curved handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (1.0 cm) are narrower than the weft splints which alternate between two widths (1.4 cm and 2.4 cm). There is a single wider warp splint (1.4 cm) near the top. The rim of the basket is a double wrapped wood splint. The basket has a single curved wooden handle that is notched where it meets the rim. The handle is woven into the basket with the weft splints.Collections
