DescriptionWoven basket with a rectangular base. The side are flared to form an oval opening. The basket has a single curved handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints alternate in pairs between two widths (1.0 cm and 1.8 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.8 cm). The rim of the basket is a single bound wood splint. The basket has a single curved wooden handle that is notched where it meets the rim. The handle is woven into the basket with the weft splints.Collections
