DescriptionWoven basket with a rectangular base. The side are flared to form an oval opening. The basket has a single curved handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints alternate in pairs between two widths (0.5 cm and 2.0) and the weft splints are (1.8 cm). The rim of the basket is a double bound wood splint. The basket has a single curved wooden handle that is notched where it meets the rim. The handle is woven into the basket with the weft splints.Collections
