DescriptionWoven basket with a rectangular base. The side are flared to form an oval opening. The basket has a single curved handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints alternate between two widths (2.1 cm and 1.0 cm) and are narrower than the weft splints (2.5 cm). The rim of the basket is a double bound sweetgrass. The basket has a single curved wooden handle that is notched where it meets the rim. The handle is woven into the basket with the weft splints.Collections
