DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side are flared to form a circular opening. The basket has a single curved handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints (1.1 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.7 cm). There are wider warp splints (1.6 cm) at the top of the basket. The rim of the basket is double bound wood splint. The basket has a single curved wooden handle that is notched where it meets the rim. The handle is woven into the basket with the weft splints.Collections
