DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a single curved handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints (0.5 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.6 cm). Around the top, middle and bottom are two rows of a wider warp splint (1.7 cm) The rim of the basket is a single bound wood splint. The basket has a single curved wooden handle that is notched where it meets the rim. The handle is woven into the basket with the weft splints.Collections
