DescriptionBirch bark box with a circular base. The sides are straight forming a circular opening. The box has a circular lid (3.5 cm). Both the box and lid are made of birch bark. The edges are all bound in sweetgrass that is wrapped is black thread. The side of the basket and lid are decorated with a row of acorn caps. The top of the lid is decorated with a ring of acorn caps as well as a flower like design with acorn caps at the center and pink dyed quills as the petals. There are several loose acorns that fell off the box. Collections
