DescriptionPine box with mitered corners and bevelled mouth. Additional piece of wood or bark, ornamented with chevron quill work is attached to lower 3/4s of box body. Birch bark lid covered with quill work employing a lozenge motif. Sides of lid are birch bark wrapped with split reed or birch, through which quills are woven at intervals. Quills are dyed white, red and blue - possibly other colors. Quill work employing chevron and lozenge motif.Collections
