DescriptionBox: Oval shaped box. The interior lining is birch bark, the exterior is three horizontal birch bark strips (each strip being approximately 4 cm wide) vertically wrapped with spruce root. The roots have a design woven in with white porcupine quills. The bottom of the box is one piece of bark. The upper lining of bark is left bare (3 cm) to form bezel on which the lid fits.Lid: One splint (4 cm wide) wrapped vertically with rushes. There is a design woven into the rushes with white porcupine quills on the sides. The top of the lid is all quills
