DescriptionSquare birch bark box with sweet grass sewn to the edges to hold the body together. The basket is solid pieces of birch bark that are curved to form the sides and lid. The sides are decorated with pink flowers with green stems as well as white criss cross design made of dyed quills. The lid is decorated with two flowers on a single stem and there are small white stitches also made of quills. All of the edges including at the corners are bound with sweet grass that is sewn in place with black thread. Collections
