DescriptionA rectangular shaped paper label advertising canned mussels. On the left hand side of the label is a red banner with “Banner Brand” printed within. Below this is an image of what looks like a bowl of soup with groupings of red squiggly lines. Underneath the bowl in red font is “Delicious Sea Food” with “Mussels Packed CLAM Style in own bouillon” beneath it. At the center of the label in varying fonts is a column which says “Fancy Quality Excellent For Stews, Chowder Soups, Etc. Etc. Packed in and Product of Prince Edward Island Canada. Dry Meat Contents 5 Ozs”. On the right side of the label are two short paragraphs, one in English, the other in French. At the bottom edge is the distributors’ information. The right edge of the label is a column of white with “Miller Litho Co. Ltd. Toronto Canada 353 211 x 400” in small blue font.
