SCARF

The donor's surgical position with the Atlantic Veterinary College required that they continue to provide care to the animals at the college. This "scarf", along with a strike pass, identified the donor as an essential worker, reducing any tensions associated with staff crossing the picket line. At the time, only the faculty were on strike so it was difficult to identify staff from different unions who weren't on strike.
