DescriptionA rectangular postcard with a black and white photograph of a large three story house with a wrap-around veranda, a cupola, and tall brick chimneys extending from the roof. Trees are seen in the background and foreground, and a garden can be seen to the left. At the bottom left of the photo is typed “Y.W.C.A Home, Charlottetown, P.E.I.” (i.e. Beaconsfield House). The reverse is divided in half by a vertical line at the center on the left is printed “This Space For Writing Messages” with an illegible, handwritten message. On the left side is printed “103382” at the top center left just above “Post Card / This Space For Address Only”. At the center is a handwritten address of the recipient: “Miss A. P. Sloat(?) / 128 Hess St. S. / Hamilton / Ont. Can.” In the top right corner is a green 2 cent Canadian postage stamp featuring the profile of King George V. At the top center is a circular postmark stamp within which is printed “Charlottetown / 9 PM / Jul 22 / 1923 / P.E.I.”
