DescriptionUnused rectangular cardboard postcard with a coloured image of the Charlottetown cenotaph monument featuring has three armed soldiers on top of a stone pedestal. The soldiers are green and the stone is grey. There are buildings in the background. The reverse is divided into two sections by a central line of text. The right side has an allocated space for a postage stamp and space for address. Narrative
The Charlottetown Cenotaph was constructed in 1925 in memory of Islanders who fought during the First World War. Following subsequent conflicts, additional text was added to the plaque near the bottom of the cenotaph to recognize the Second World War and the Korean War.
