DescriptionAn unused colour postcard in landscape orientation showing image of man bending over in water to gather shells with a red cliff face in the background. Underneath the image in black font is printed "Gathering Shells Prince Edward Island / Photo by W.S.Louson "Garden of the Gulf Series" 1853". The reverse of the card has "Canadian Souvenir Post Card" in a decorative banner at the top center. In the top right corner is a rectangle reserved for a postage stamp with "Postage / One Cent / For / Canada / and U.S. / Two Cents / For / Aboard" at the center. Collections
