DescriptionFour-pointed star shaped bronze medal with a rayon ribbon. The medal has crossed swords on the front with a crown at the top. The ribbon is attached to the medal with a ring at the top of the medal. The ribbon is red, white and blue striped.Narrative
This star, sanctioned in 1918, is similar in shape and design to the 1914 star sanctioned in 1917. The only difference is that the date "1914-15" appears on the center scroll, while the smaller scrolls bearing the words "Aug" and "Nov" are moitted. The ribbon is identical; the red is worn closest to the heart.
