DescriptionTwo embroidered monograms from a 1950's nurse's cape. The monograms were embroidered on the collars of the capes to personalize them for each nurse. The embroidery is gold while the cape fragment that the embroidery is on is black with a red back on one of the pieces. Narrative
The collars of student nurses capes would have had these patches attached. One is the initials of the nurse and the other is the school of nursing that they are training with.
