DescriptionTwo square baskets that are joined by four legs that attach in the middle of the sides. The baskets are the same design. Both are decorated with two rows of diamond jikiji’j that bridge two rows of wider (1.5 cm) and one row of narrower (0.8 cm) warp splints. The rims of both baskets are single wrapped wood splints. The legs provide an hourglass shape to the stand with the smaller basket in the middle of the legs. They are positioned on the outside of both baskets. There is also a circular retaining ring near the bottom of the legs. Under each of the baskets another piece of wood has been attached to the legs that curve to meet at the center of the basket bottom. Collections
