DescriptionBrown hardwood platform rocking chair. The seat and chair back are both cushioned with horse hair cushions. The seat back has buttons that hold the stuffing in place. The crest rail is decorated with flower and leaf design cutout as well as a flower carving in the middle. There is other decoration on the top of the crest rail. The arm rest are attached to the stiles of the seat back as well as to the curved rockers. The stiles and arm rests are decorated with tiny lines as well as ears at the top of the stiles. The front rail of the chair has a drop piece on the front with a flower like motif. The legs of the chair have castors on the front and springs that attach the legs to the chair. The sides of the chair are decorated with carvings of scrolls and flowers. Narrative
