DescriptionBrown chair with a trapezoidal seat that is flared toward the front and has a plank construction. There are square notches cut out of the back of the seat to accommodate the stiles. The seat of the chair is skirted on all sides by rectangular wooden apron. The front uprights are squared and tapered at the base, with chamfered edges. The chair also has box stretcher with front and back slats that are off set. The back legs are also squared and tapered at base. The back legs extend upwards through the notches in the seat as canted stiles with a backward bevelled finials. The crest rail rectangular with a concave curve. There is also a horizontal splat that is roughly rectangular with cut outs of opposing concave curves on each side of the center.Collections
