DescriptionDark hall chair with a rounded wood back that is scroll cut. The chair has a trapezoidal softwood seat that flares at the front with bevelled corners and the edge is skirted on three sides by a rectangular wooden apron. There are wooden blocks on the underside of the seat that serve as additional supports. The front legs are cabriole shaped with applied rectangular pieces at the corners of the upper apron. The upper legs terminate in rosette like pieces. The back legs are saber shaped rising to form the back piece. The back is balloon shaped with cut-out handle grip at the top. The chair back also has a circular cut-out disk at the center with a shield and two curved cut-outs on either side of central disk. Collections
