DescriptionChair with a trapezoidal seat that is flared at the front with notches cut out of the seat in the back corners. The seat is nailed to a rectangular seat frame that is skirted on all sides. The front legs are squared and taper toward the base. The chair has modified box stretcher with side rungs stepped up and no rung between the back legs. The back legs are squared slightly tapered at the base and have a slight concave curve that forms the stiles of the seat back. The crest rail is a concavely curved rectangle that is screwed to the stiles. In addition to the crest rail there is also a roughly rectangular crosspiece that has engraved medallion at the center of the crosspiece. The cross piece also has two concave cut outs oppose each other on either side of the center piece. Narrative
