DescriptionTwo circular baskets that are joined by three legs. The baskets are the same design. Both are decorated with two rows of diamond jikiji’j that bridge two rows of wider (1.5 cm) warp splints and are positioned at the top and bottom of both baskets. The rims of both baskets are single wrapped sweetgrass. The legs are curved plain with flat sides and a retaining ring near the bottom. They are positioned on the outside of the lower basket and are woven into the upper basket. The top basket has a flat lid that has two rows of diamond jikiji’j around the edge. The center of the lid is gradually narrowing splints. The rim of the lid is also single wrapped sweetgrass. This style is a double sewing basket.
