DescriptionWoven wall hanging basket with a rectangular base and slightly flared sides including the back which extends beyond the height above the rest of the edge of the basket. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern with uniform weft splints (2.0 cm). Most of the warp splints are one width (2.0 cm) while the lowest warp splints on the basket front are narrower (1.0 cm). The upper part of the back is vaguely pyramid shaped. Around the edge of the upper part is a row of diamond jikiji’j. The front edge of the lower portion of the basket is double wrapped sweetgrass. Collections
