DescriptionWoven wall hanging basket with a rectangular base and slightly flared sides including the back which extends beyond the height above the rest of the edge of the basket. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints are mostly one width (1.7 cm) which are narrower than the weft splints (2.0 cm). On the front of the lower portion of the basket is a row of diamond jikiji’j that are bordered by narrower warp splints (1.0 cm). The upper part of the basket is vaguely pyramid shaped with diamond jikiji’j along the top edge. The edge of the lower portion of the basket is double wrapped wood splints. Collections
