DescriptionWoven wall hanging basket with a conical base with sides that flare to a rectangular opening which then extends in a pyramid shape above the opening. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints are mostly one width (1.5 cm) which are wider than the weft splints (1.3 cm). On the front of the lower portion of the basket is many rows of jikiji’j that has narrower warp splints (0.5 cm) between them. The upper part of the basket is pyramid shaped three rows of diamond jikiji’j with a row of the wider warp splints and a row of the narrower between each jikiji’j. The top edge of both parts double wrapped wood splint.Collections
