DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.0 cm high). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints on the basket (0.3 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.6 cm). Around the middle of the basket is two rows of a wider splints (1.6 cm). Between the rows of wider splints is a row of diamond jikiji’j. Most of the warp splint on the lid are also the narrower splints. At the edge of the lid is two rows of sweet grass. There is also sweet grass around the center of the lid. Also near the rim is two rows of wider splint between which is a row of diamond jikiji’j. There is also two rows of middle width warp splints between which is a row of diamond jikiji’j. Many of the warp splints are dyed blue. In the center of the lid is a small ring. The rim of the basket is single wrapped splints while the rim on the lid is single wrapped sweet grass. Collections
