DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (4.0 cm high). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splint on the lid are very narrow (0.2 cm) In the center of the lid is several rows of sweet grass. Which are circled by two rows of a slightly wider (0.5 cm) warp splint between which is a row of diamond jikiji’j, around which is several mores rows of sweet grass and another row of the wider splint. On the side of the lid is two wider splints (1.6 cm) between which is another row of diamond jikiji’j. The basket is mostly made of a wider splint (1.5 mc) with three rows of a narrow splint (0.2 cm) ¾ of the way from the top. Around the bottom of the basket is a row of diamond jikiji’j that is situated between two warp rows, there is also a row of jikiji’j around the middle of the basket. The rim on the lid and the basket are single wrapped sweet grass. The warp splints on the lid are dyed green or pink and, on the basket, they are dyed pink. The basket is lined with a piece of purple fabric. The rim of the basket and the lid are single wrapped sweet grass. In the center of the lid is a small single wrapped wood splint loop. Collections
