The Ocean 100 Morning Show formed in 2006 with host Kirk MacKinnon, co-host Kerri Wynne MacLeod, and co-host and news anchor Scott Chapman. The three were already well known local radio personalities and credit their on-air popularity to good chemistry. For 17 years their morning show covered local stories, news, and weather, becoming closely intertwined with the daily routines of Islanders. The Morning Show aired on Ocean 100.3 which formed in 2006 as part of CHTN, owned by the Newfoundland Capital Corporation.
