St. Dunstan's Cathedral Basilica is a High Victorian Gothic style architectural landmark located at 65 Great George Street, in Charlottetown, PEI. It is the fourth church to be built on the same site and was erected between 1897 and 1907. The Basilica was badly damaged by a fire in 1913 after which both the interior and exterior were redesigned by architects Francois-Xavier Berlinguet and J.M. Hunter. In 1929 the site was consecrated and elevated to the status of Basilica, making it the center of the Roman Catholic church in the Provence. It was designated as a National Historic Site of Canada in 1990.
