DescriptionRectangular hat box that is seamed at the corners with an overhanging lip at the top edges of the body. The lid is hinged at the rear. The box has a lock that is located at the top center of the body of the case. The key hole is offset from the center with the latch at the center of the case. The latch has a tongue that fits in a slot beside the keyhole. On the top of the case is a handle made from a thin metal rod bent into an oblong oval and secured by a contoured plate. The box is decorated with black enamel with daubs of red arranged in rows. The case is lined in red velvet. Collections
