DescriptionA rectangular envelope (.1a) with two blue postage stamps (.1b-c) and a blue handwritten address on the front. A rectangular card is within which has an image of the Virgin Mary, a baby, and two angels whose heads are all ringed in light. On the back of the card is a handwritten message: "Dear Joe / Am currently running / a dispensary for the U.S. / Army in Southern France / Near Bordeaux. Don't think / you were ever that far / south, were you. It's very / interesting country and / work. best regards to / all at Lea's / Your Nephew / Charlie". Inside is a pre-typed message with a psalm on the left, "'Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and / shall bring forth a son, and they shall / call his name Emmanuel...' / St. Matthew 1:23", and a greeting on the right "To wish you / all the truest joys / of Christmas".
