DescriptionYellow ochre and green. "Wicker" shoot or twig is bent back on itself at each end to produce a loop on each end, and then bent piece is wrapped for most of length with a wood splint or strip of bark. Whole handle is arched in the center. Single strip of green-dyed bark/splint is woven along top of handle to decorate. Whole apparatus is covered with lacquer or varnish.Collections
