DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side are flared to form a circular opening. The basket has a single curved handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (1.5 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (2.4 cm). The rim of the basket is wood splints that is secured by nails. The basket has a single curved wooden handle that is notched where it meets the rim and has a carved section for holding in the middle of the handle. The handle is woven into the basket with the weft splints and has a nail in it through the rim and handle.Collections
