Narrative
Written by Joyce Barkhouse, “The Witch of Port LaJoye” tells the story of a young woman charged with being a witch in the early 1700s on Prince Edward Island. Joyce Barkhouse (1913-2012) is a well-known Canadian author originally from Woodhouse, Nova Scotia, and the niece of author Margaret Atwood.
