DescriptionWoven basket with a rectangular base. The side are flared to form an oval opening. The basket has two curved handles. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints are two different widths (0.9 cm and 1.4 cm) that are narrower than the weft splints (1.9 cm). The narrower warp splints are near the bottom and the wider are at the top. The rim of the basket is a double bound sweet grass. The basket has two curved wood splint handles that are single wrapped in wood splints. The handle is woven into the basket with the weft splints.Collections
