DescriptionWoven basket with a rectangular base. The side are straight forming a rectangular opening. The basket has two curved hinged handles. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern.The basket has three different width warp splints. Most of the warps (1.6 cm) splint are dyed green. At the top there are two of the wider splints followed by two narrower splints (0.7 cm), a wider splint (2.0 cm) and two narrower splints. Two of the narrowest and the widest splint are dyed pink. The bottom half of the basket has the middle width splint that are also dyed green. The weft splints are all the same width (1.4 cm). The rim of the basket is two wood splints that are nailed to the warp weft splints. Nailed to the rim is two curved handles that use the nails as hinges.
