DescriptionWoven basket with a rectangular base. The side are slightly flared forming a larger rectangular opening. The basket has two curved wooden handles. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp and weft splints are the same width (2.0 cm). The top splint is dyed green and the second splint is dyed pink. The rim is wood splint that have been nailed to the weft splints. The handles are nailed to the rim and the nails act as hinges for the handles. Collections
