DescriptionWoven basket with a rectangular base. The side are straight forming a rectangular opening. The basket has two D-shaped hinged handles. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (1.0 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (2.0 cm). Alternating warp splints are dyed green, At the corners the weft splints are split to for splints that are half the width of the rest. The rim is single wrapped wood splint. The handles are wood splints that are nailed to the handle, the nails act as the hinges. Collections
