DescriptionWoven basket with a rectangular base. The side are straight and form a rectangular opening. The basket has two curved hinged handles. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp strands (1.0 cm) are slightly narrower than the weft strands (1.8 cm). The rim of the basket is wood splints nailed to the weft splints. The basket has two curved handles that are attached to the basket with a single nail on each side into the rim.
